Swaddling Soothes Newborns and Reduces Symptoms of Colic by recreating the familiar, comforting snugness of the womb. Swaddling also reduces the incidence of the startle reflex, which can upset babies and increase the frequency of waking and crying. Swaddling Can Reduce the Risk of SIDS and help babies sleep through the night. New research shows that swaddling can help reduce the risk of SIDS by promoting better sleep when infants are on their backs. 5 out of 5 stars Great, saved my sanity!   January 6, 2009
Flagstaff Mom
When my son was young, i would swaddle him up in this product and he was quiet and seem comfortable. This product works well for as much as I used it. As he got older, he was able to pry himself out as the velcro was starting to go. Totally worth buying a couple of them though.

5 out of 5 stars Every Parent Needs One.   December 27, 2008

I love these and the Sleepsacks. Every parent should have them. They make swaddling you child so much easier than using a blanket and the material is super soft. I highly recommend these and Sleepsacks for when they are older.

5 out of 5 stars What a saver!   September 18, 2008

I absolutely love this product! My daughter is a very restless sleeper (9 weeks old) and tends to smack herself in the face, which of course wakes her up, unless her hands are swaddled down. I've tried blankets of all kinds, but she's always managed to get herself out of them. This product is great in that the microfleece is strong enough to keep her from unswaddling herself, while also being breathable. She sleeps so great in it that ever since I've used it (at about 6 weeks of age) she's slept through the night anywhere from 5 - 7 hours without waking me up for milk. I highly recommend this product!

1 out of 5 stars Great product except in microfleece   April 15, 2008
A. Donnelly (WA USA)
I LOVE this product, except in microfleece. It is too warm and our pediatrician feels it is dangerous because it may increase the risk of SIDS by overheating the baby. Buy this product in flannel or cotton instead.

4 out of 5 stars nice and tight but a little too warm   February 10, 2008
A. Lee (Los Angeles, CA)
Great for colder climates. I live in LA, so it's actually a bit warm for baby most of the time. Unless you live by the beach, then it's the perfect swaddler. It's pretty secure so baby will not be able to get out of it easily. Would recommend this or maybe the cotton version.
