Make sure to keep the Replacement Pillows Wet & they are Great! June 29, 2010

I bought this product back in 2006 and have been using them ever since(we have had 2 more children). Our wipes warmer is still working great. The replacement pillows are nice because as long as you keep them wet, they won't dry your wipes out or turn them brown. They also last for a really long time. I just have to make sure about every other week that I take them out and put some water on them. Eventually, you will notice that they are becoming a little flimsy and that is when you need to change the replacement pillows. I also have friends that you use cloth diapers and wipes and the wipe warmer and refills work well for the cloth wipes too. I am very pleased with the wipes warmer and the replacement pillows!

I have 2 wipe warmers. One at office. One at home.
At first I was skeptical about this product's claim that it kills bateria to keep your wipes fresh longer, so I tried putting one of the two wipe warmes.
After 2 months of usage, I can tell you their claim is true. My office wipe warmer without this smelled a bit stale while the wipe warmer at home with this smelled 100% fresh.
The only con i know is that this pillows leave some brown colored dried-out residue after 2 months. I had to scrub a little bit to get rid of them. Other than this tiny residue problem, I am completely happy with its performance in keeping the wipes fresh for longer periods of time.

I stopped buying these and my wipes no longer get "burned". I had alot of issues with my cloth wipes getting dried out, and it turns out the pad was absorbing all the moisture. I've stopped using them and no more browning or mildew. Go figure. :/

They do a good job of keeping wipes warm and moist, but they can turn pretty brown. The directions warn of this, especially if you use wipes that have things like Aloe or scents. But it was nice for the middle-of-the-night diaper changes when a cold wipe would have made everyone's night a bad one!
