This book is awesome. I wish I would have read it two years ago. While I'm not getting pregnant right away, it is ruling out many of the medical conditions that my doctor thought I may have and is actually giving me more confidence that pregnancy will come in a matter of time. If I am still in the same boat 3-6 months from now, at least I will be able to meet up with my doctor with solid information that will help him treat me.

I can't recommend this book highly enough. Even for people not wanting to use the methods described for contraception or conception, it is still valuable information every woman should understand. I bought the book because I wanted to begin using the FAM method for birth control and found it to be clear and very helpful in more ways than I expected. It made me confident in being informed in my decision to use the FAM method and is a great reference with lots of examples for various issues or questions with charting. I wish more people would read and understand how based in science this is (not the rhythm method!) and see that they have other real options in contraception apart from condoms and hormones. And when the time comes to have children, I will already understand more about the hows, whens, and whys of conception and be able to more quickly see any potential issues.

A friend at work gave me this book that his wife had used when they struggled with infertility. After a miscarriage and a full year of not being able to get pregnant again, I read this cover to cover. I am usually not into "holistic" or "natural" remedies--I love modern medicine. HOWEVER, modern medicine was failing me. I took charge of my own charting and used the online software to send my monthly cycles to my doctor. Through TCOYF, my dr. was able to pinpoint several medical issues that we did not previously know that I had. I was able to receive treatment and drugs for those issues and continued to use TCOYF's charting method as we used fertility drugs. My miracle baby was conceived 4 months after my dr. began my treatment (thanks to this book). I have shared this book with countless friends. I really cannot say enough good things about it! I will use it again when we decide to try for Baby #2! Even if you don't have infertility issues, it is great to understand your body and your cycle. This book helps do that!

Excellent and useful book when you want to know female body stucture and fertility/infertility issues. I am a therapist and it gave me an inside idea what to look for when couple comes for infertility.
