My kid is 6.5 and I bought this for the second vehicle. I was worried the padding was not good enough which is quite common with all the booster seats. It turns out this particular model has pretty good padding. I am using this for short distance ride only. I think it will not support a sleepy child well. I still prefer to use a seat with back and head support for longer trip. Otherwise, this is a great seat.

I highly recommend this booster seat. I did my research and this was rated among the best by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety with the added bonus of being extremely reasonably priced. My 5 year old son straps himself in and feels like such a Big boy being able to do it all on his own. He loves the cup holder and the strap attached to the seat that guides the over the shoulder seat belt into the proper place so it's no rubbing his neck. We loved it so much that we bought a 2nd one for our 2nd vehicle.

Great style. Not less wide than the Graco booster sold at Target, so it still takes up a fair amount of seat space (though less than other boosters.) Looks much better than most, is relatively comfortable, and the cup holder bands are great.

Safe, easy to install, comfortable for my daughter (unless she falls asleep), lightweight and affordable. We ordered another for our other car. My daughter is a small 6 year old (41 lbs and 44 inches) and this seat works for her perfectly.

We researched several in the same price range. This one is the best. It has plenty of cushion, it is sturdy, love the shiny colors, and the cupholders are wonderful. Plus, our son really really likes it.
