spoons July 31, 2010 M. Colette These spoons are the best for new eaters... I tried several other brands and I love the longer handles on these. They'd get a higher rating from me but you just don't use these small spoons for too long a period of time before moving on to a spoon with a wider tip. We only used these maybe 4 mos before my son wanted a spoon that gave him more food per bite. Nevertheless you can't start out with the wider tipped spoons you need to go gradually so these really are necessary, good thing they're cheap.
Great spoons July 22, 2010 NC These spoons have a handle much like a larger toothbrush and very soft tips that are somewhat bendable. They are long, but my son was able to use them a little when he decided to grab on since the handle is thicker than most other infant spoons. I liked these better than the other types of spoons (like the coated gerber ones) since they are a little flexable and I could actually get food to stay on them. The only downside, since they are so thick they take up a bunch of space in a utensil organizer, but this wasn't really a big deal.
Easy to grip, and soft for baby's gums July 21, 2010 Yary (Florida) These spoons are great for feeding baby! They have an easy to grip handle. They are long, so you're not getting yourself all messy when trying to get the food out of the container. They are soft tip for baby's gums. And they are colorful and interesting for baby to look at.
Babies favorite July 18, 2010 R. Briggs (USA) We have the Munchkin spoons, plates, bowls and cups (not quite ready for those yet though). They are all brightly colored and our little one loves to eat with them. Well made and sturdy for the many runs in the dishwasher. Unlike some others we tried, none of these products will stain with food (pureed carrots etc. often made other things permanently orange) Highly recommended.
Great spoons, but best a couple months into feeding. July 15, 2010 Chefmama I love these spoons. When I first used them at 4 months for my son, I thought they were horrible. It was too much food and he seemed to take to the Gerber ones much easier. Now it is the other way around. He prefers these spoons when being fed. He can sometimes be a gagger when it comes to baby food and these seem to help with that for some reason. I would definitely recommend them. If they don't work at first, don't give up, try them again the next month or so.
