The first thing to note about Graco's pack `n play is that it is larger than many playards. This colorful, mesh-sided pen unfolds to a 38" x 38" square, rather than the rectangular shape of most others on the market. While this equates to needing more space, it also means that baby is provided with a bigger (and sturdier) area to play in. The playard's stability comes from a four-footed metal frame, which-along with the four corner feet-gives it eight points of contact with the ground.  | | The included bag makes storing and carrying easy. | Setup takes one person only minutes, from snapping the frame in place to securing the rigid, padded-top floor (cutely decorated with a fun bug pattern) with the Velcro fasteners. Breaking it down again is just as simple, and there is a convenient nylon storage/carrying bag included for easy portability. Bundled up, the pack `n play measures a compact 38 inches long by 10 inches square, but at nearly 24 pounds, it might be heavier than expected. Baby will appreciate the extra space, the friendly bug motif, being able to see mom and dad through the soft mesh walls, and the four interactive toys-one on each side. There's a sun with a mirror at its center, teaching baby self-awareness. The ladybug's body houses a squeak toy. Show them how to beep it to teach ear, eye, and hand coordination. I bought this, after only seeing it online. I was hoping that it was as large as it looked and it was. I use this playard just about every day, we take it when we go places like playing tennis, my daughter sits in it with her mega legos and plays, the toys that are on the inside, sides of it are wonderful. I was very surprised with how much my toddler wants to go into it. She loves to play in it and very rarely gives me a hard time. The ease of floding it and setting it up is wonderful. It isn't really too heavy either but a little akward in length when carrying it. The mattress wraps around the outside of it and fastens together and displays a handle for easy carrying. All around I have to say this is a wonderful purchace and an awesome product! I would deffenetly recomend it!

Got this for my grandson and he loves the bright colors, large play area and stimulating toys built into the side panels. It is sturdier than other playpens I have looked at and will be usable longer than the smaller portable playpens I looked at. It is a little heavy to tote around, but it makes up for it in bright engaging colors and usefulness. Would recommend to any parent, or grandparent.

We got this because it was the biggest play yard we could find, and it had gotten mainly good reviews. None of the bad reviews were true for us. This playpen is colorful, sturdy, has a decent mattress, and is reasonably portable. It's extremely easy to assemble, and the toys are sewn on solidly so that the baby can't tear them off (even though he hangs by them with his entire 18-lb weight). It's a little heavy, but I can still carry it one-handed. It's probably the smartest $70 we've spent so far- there's nothing like the peace of mind of knowing your child is NOT eating the cat food while you're in the shower!

My granddaughter is 8 1/2 months and she enjoys playing in the pack 'n play playard. She is able to move around and standup and watch the TV. I have it in the family room, so she is able to see me when I am in the kitchen. This pack 'n play playard is larger than most so my granddaughter is not so confined. The bright colors and characters on each side makes it appealing to the child. My daughter was so impressed with it that she also bought one to keep at her house. I highly recommend this product to any parent of an infant or toddler.
