Fully featured digital thermometer with flex tip
Amazon.com
As an aid in increasing the likelihood of becoming pregnant, the basal thermometer is indispensable. By taking her basal temperature every morning at the same time (basal conditions refer to having had a good night’s sleep, 12 hours after eating, no emotional disturbance, before exercise, and in normal room temperature), a woman can track slight fluctuations and determine when ovulation occurs. After keeping track for three months (charts are included), it becomes possible to predict the fertile days which occur just before ovulation. This thermometer features a flexible tip that can be used orally or rectally (once used rectally it should not be used orally), and features a soft-press on/off button on the end, a large digital display, and is accurate to within +/– 0.15 degrees Fahrenheit. A memory function allows comparison between the current and previous day’s reading. The thermometer beeps when the reading is finished, and shuts off automatically. Probe covers and a battery are included. Waterproof for easy cleaning with soap and water or rubbing alcohol, the thermometer measures 1 by 5-5/8 inches and stores in a protective case. --Ann Bieri
