Calling all junior Picassos! This colorful little easel will complement any budding artist's workshop, with one side for painting and dry-erase art and another for working in chalk. Each 18- by 16-inch side has a drop-down tray: a 1-inch-deep slot on the chalkboard side can hold chalk and an eraser, while the dry-erase side (which you can clip paper onto for painting) has a 6-inch Masonite tray with four holes cut out for paint containers. The sturdy, wooden easel is suitably sized for either floor or tabletop work, but you will need to provide your own art supplies. --Paul Hughes
