Takes Away the Shame of Bedwetting July 9, 2010 Sunshine Alternative Mama (Sunny So Cal) Bed-wetting shouldn't be shameful; certainly no child wants to wet the bed! I have an 11 year-old son with a bladder condition that has made dry nights impossible for him, but thanks to GoodNites he has never had to feel that he is doing something wrong. We've tried other name brands and generics, and nothing compares to GoodNites in terms of absorbency, leaks, and wet-outs. They fit his skinny frame really well.
great item April 22, 2010 Agnes (Houston, TX USA) great fit, very absorbent, perfect for day & night when toddler sizes are just too small. just wish they weren't so expensive!
Disliking the NEW Underwear-like Goodnites April 2, 2010 K. Butcher (Michigan) We have used Goodnites for over 2 years with an occasional leak or night time wetting issue. Our latest package is the "new softer, brief like" underwear style. What a disappointment! We have had an issue every night since this package has been opened. I'm wondering who they tested these on! My poor little guy is devastated and we are frustrated as we have to get up and change sheets each night....and do the washing all the next day. I can't express my frustration since we had tried other competitor's brands and this was the only one that seemed to work. I will be contacting the company and hope you do the same if you find the same problems we are.
Perfect for 6YO who can't stay dry at night March 3, 2010 C. Hood-Siegal (Birmingham, AL) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My typically developing 6 year old, approx. 50 lb. son has never been able to stay dry at night. He is a sound sleeper, has a small bladder, doesn't get the signal that he needs to go. The pediatrician is not ready to try any other interventions (medicine, alarm, etc...) so these have been a lifesaver. He is able to wear one every night, and can wear one without anyone noticing if he is at a sleepover. He can even remove them himself in the morning, usually by tearing the sides. We have been through heavy wetting phases where they have leaked a little bit, not enough to wake him in the night. It seems that Diaper Doublers are no longer made, but I have found that Depends makes a product called Boost (Depend BOOST Inserts - Diaper Liners - Booster Pads - Doublers, Pack/20 Pads) that helps. It is like a maxi-pad without the plastic liner. We don't have to use them all the time, only occassionally. I believe the reason for the leakage is he exceeds the GoodNights' capacity. I don't think it is a design flaw. These seem to fit him better and are much more absorbent than Pull-Ups (which I think must be made with a lower capacity for the specific purpose of potty training).
